Customs & Duties

1.  Do I need to pay import duties or Tax (VAT)?

Many countries charge two kinds of tax when you import from overseas: sales tax (VAT) and import duties. Most countries allow up to a certain value of goods into the country without any additional duties and taxes.

Generally, the payable amount of tax is based on the declared value of the goods (and occasionally the shipping), Conversely, many countries do not charge any tax on certain types of goods, or on shipments that are small enough.

We cannot inform you about the Customs duty rate and whether Tax (VAT)will be levied or not in advance. You can check the import duty and tax (VAT) from your local custom website for more details.

There is a "Threshold"value for Tax (VAT), but this value varies from country to country. You can contact your local custom office to check the import duties or tax (VAT) for the goods you are going to import. We usually to recommend to declare the value of the goods 10% to 40% of the real value if you want to do “under-declaring”.
